Bob was born and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn by first-generation Italian-American parents, this means he was given an accordion at an early age (yes, he walked to his lessons) and was expected to play on the Lawrence Welk Program before the age of 18. But that didn’t work out; Bob wanted to be a Beatle and switched to the organ & piano (before we called them “keyboards” as his main instrument, and started playing in bands in JHS. Once he realized there was less equipment to move as a bass player, he made that his main instrument. Bob played clubs and private parties in the NYC area and eastern Connecticut until 1990, then took a 25 year break to raise his family. Today you can now see Bob playing all the classics that inspired his life long passion at the clubs and parties in Southern California. Come see him for a delightful mix of classic songs and some NY comedy.
